Baccarat is usually played in a separated roped off area of the casino
where players have the option of dealing the cards. Online you will
only find mini baccarat. This version uses identical rules however
the cards are always dealt be the dealer. Baccarat is an easy game

Card Values And Rankings
The game is played with from between two and eight decks of cards.
All numbered cards retain their value while the Jack, Queen, King
have a value of 10 and the Ace a value of one. Suits do not matter
in Baccarat. Card totals can only be single digits so if you were
to get a 9 and a 4 your total is 3 (9+4=13-10=3).
Baccarat Rules
On a baccarat table you will find three betting spots. These
are Player, Banker and Tie. The first two have a low house advantage
while the tie bet has a huge one. For this reason we recommend that
you either go for banker or player and avoid the tie.
To play simply place a bet in one of the betting spots. Two cards
are dealt to the players hand and two to the bankers hand. If either
hand has a value of nine (A Natural) it automatically wins. If neither
hand is a natural then one more card may be dealt to the player and
/ or the banker according to the following rules.
The players hand gets a new card if it has a total of 5 or less. If
the players hand is 6 or more then the player receives no more cards.
Depending on the players hand the dealer may draw one more card.
If the bank hand is 2 or less the bank automatically gets another
card, If 3 the dealer draws as long as the players card is not an
eight, If the bank total is for then another card is dealt except
when the player has 0, 1, 8 or 9. If the bank total is 5 and the player
total is 4, 5, 6 or seven then another card is dealt and finally if
the bank has 6 a new card is dealt if the players hand is 6 or 7.
While this might seem somewhat confusing it is really quite simple
and you as a player will never have to make the new card decisions
as these are always made by the dealer.
Pay Offs and House Advantages
The Banker bet has a 1 to 1 payout minus a 5% commission to the casino

The Players bet has a 1 to 1 payout - HA = 1.36%
The Tie Bet (Not Recommended) has a pay off or 8 to 1 - HA = 14.5%
